host a “get to[gather]”

introducing:

get to[gather]

do you want to host an event with us in your city to foster female friendships?

from dinner parties and coffee chats to happy hours and meetups out and about, host a gathering in your area and in your style.

  • there is nothing that creates a bond quite like sharing a meal. these gatherings are an opportunity for 6 - 12 women to share a brunch or dinner together at a home or private location and have an intimate meal filled with deep conversations. these events may be hosted so that guests are encouraged to speak with a new person near them at the table, or as one big group discussion.

we will provide content for leaders to use to host conversations, as well as share the [gather] toolkit on how to put together a decorative meal with us.

**please note that leaders are responsible for providing meals for guests (or guests may pay for their own food). if this is a financial obstacle, the [gather] team may be able to provide some assistance or problem solving.

  • happy hours are an opportunity to gather 6-10 women at a local bar or happy hour after typical work hours. we encourage leaders to talk through themes including friendship, community, leadership, and career, and will provide questions for conversation that is best held while sipping wine or mock-tails for a fun evening with the girls.

  • coffee chats are an opportunity to gather 4-8 women at a local coffee shop in your city. as women sip their lattes and cappuccinos, they will engage in thoughtful, light-hearted discussion with questions written by our team so women can leave caffeinated and connected.

  • sometimes getting together to move and get a little sunshine is the best way to make new friends. whether it’s a long walk or a game of pickle-ball, a day serving at a local park or helping at a local community center, these outdoor activities can be hosted in partnership with local fitness organizations, clubs, or brands of your choosing, or simply on your own. we will provide questions to be asked on the go and on the move, for women to leave with friendship and fitness goals met.

the heart behind “get to[gather]”

historically, [gather] has always selected leaders through a careful process, often through pre-existing relationships that have proven a longstanding and credible commitment to empowering women and building community in all areas of life. we have long held to the belief that the mission and vision of the founding team should be preserved by a team that also resonates and believes wholeheartedly in the same. we will continue to host events and build up flourishing [gather] communities in the locations that are already established, and we will continue to source and grow locations with leaders who are committed to their city.

this year, in answer to the near daily requests we receive to host more events, we will also expand our reach.

we are excited to launch our first-ever application process to host events! these events will be slightly more casual than Signature [gather] Events, in which a trained and commissioned team member leads attendees through a lengthy, intimate group discussion.

these events will be lighter, but still carry the same [gather] spirit and intention for community building – from dinner parties and coffee chats to happy hours and meetups — and will still be discussion-based. these events will seek to foster community in a low-pressure environment through meaningful yet manageable conversation. approved hosts will receive a toolkit, resources, and questions from our team to host their own events in their location, and [gather] will market these events to our community to expand their reach.

if you are interested in applying to host an event, please read the below carefully. we’d love to hear from you!

please note that the application process is intended to help us select leaders who would be the best candidates to host [gather] events. due to limited space in our calendar and team resources, we cannot accommodate everyone who applies - but we will seek to do our best.
